Citizen’s Advocate recall that on a fateful night, the victims were already into a deep sleep when their apartment caught fire and through another resident of the structure, it was found out but before the boys could be rescued, they were seriously burnt.
Also, recall that immediately after the incident the victims were rushed to Alex Ekwueme Federal Teaching Hospital Abakaliki (AE-FETHA) where Master Chidera was declared dead on arrival by the doctor.
Mrs. Edeh further disclosed that late Chidera had concluded his SS II at Urban Model Secondary School, Abakaliki and Master Miracle was a Senior Primary Pupil before his demise and thereby expressed discomfort on how the Children whom she had cared for from cradle following their parent’s death could leave her in such unpleasant manner.
