Prophetess in Mysterious Death

A prophetess in one of the new generation churches, Mrs. Agwu Felicia has been found dead along Ezza Road Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

The middle age woman said to have come from Uburu, Ohaozara, was seen lying on the road at the early hours of Saturday 18th May, 2019, by road users and quickly contacted the Ebonyi State Police Command who rushed to the scene and evacuated the dead body to avoid causing commotion in the town.

Cititzens’ Advocate gathered that the woman had left Oshiegbe Ezza North that morning, where she had her church, but suddenly met her death, but no one could determine the cause of her death.

Eye witness told Citizens ‘ Advocate that she noticed they were slippers on the spot while the woman was resting her head on her hand bang as if someone else had arranged that for her.

As nobody was able to reveal the cause of the death of the woman of God at the time of filing this report, as she was properly known in Ezza North where she was evangelizing for God.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Ebonyi State, DSP Loveth Odah confirmed the report and said that police have deposited the body of the woman at the Federal Teaching Hospital Abakaliki with the knowledge of her family member suspected to be her daughter.

She said the death of the woman for now is still a case of SUD (Sudden and Unnatural Death.)

The PPRO who regretted the sudden death of the woman said that a photographer contacted her on the development and she alerted police team who visited the scene, took the deceased to hospital where she was confirmed death.

She said that the police contacted the family member, one Okechukwu Blessing who said the deceased was her mother.

She said that the woman was sick of hernia, but had received treatment in the hospital before that morning.

The PPRO said that the family did not suspect any foul play and that if they are suspecting any foul play they should come and brief the police for immediate investigation.
