Do you know the fights within you?
Do you know the fights around you?
Do you know the fights against you?
Do you know the economic fight mobilized against your wellbeing?
Do you know the policies and politicking against your wellbeing?
Do you know the political arsenals mobilized against your future?
Do you know the fight against mediocrity and complacency?
Do you know you must fight foolishness?
Do you know you must fight the spirit of average?
Do you know you must fight for excellence?
See, the question isn’t about whether you will win or lose, but are you willing and ready to fight? Ironically, and funny enough, whether you like it or not, people are fighting you whether for love, hate, jealousy, envy, anger or whatever reason. Eg Joseph and his brothers. Please note: For every fight, contention and crises, there are weapons to do justice. Foolishness begins with asking God to do for you what He has ordained, wired and powered you to do. 2 Cor. 10:4 … the weapons of our warfare are not carnal…hence,
There are battles and there are weapons for each
There are battles you fight with your position
There are battles you use strength, energy, sweat, stubbornness and anger to fight
There are some battles money will fight for you
There are some battles your children fight for you
There are some, being married will solve
There are some you just need to be a graduate to solve or fight
There are some ‘status’ will fight and solve for you
There are some silence will fight for you
There are some patients will solve for you
Don’t just fight – don’t just be interested in fighting. Ask yourself, do you have the weapon to deal, do justice, fight and win? Otherwise, your effort will be in futility. You may not, and nature may deny you the wisdom to manage the entity called Nigeria. Why? You’re not the Mr President. You may not, and nature may deny you the wisdom to govern your state…perhaps because you’re not the Governor. You may not have the wisdom to put an end to the economic quagmires, political instability and insecurity of the nation(s), because you’re not in charge…

You have to fight for what is legally yours. There is nothing like success without sweat. You have to fight for what you believe. You have to fight for your portion…fight you must. Bishop David Oyedepo preached ‘success without sweat’ in the late nineties or thereabout. But ask him how many hours he sleeps daily. Ask him why he is not folding his arms till date. Ask him while he preaches, writes and publishes virtually on a daily basis.
Success without stress/sweat is not just impossible but not sweet. For instance, at my level, there are certification/certificates I have without writing any form of examination, I simply paid and get inducted, such certification/certificates do not command much of my attention and respect, but the ones I struggled to read, prepare, finance, sweated and eventually passed. I’m currently undergoing one that is causing me a fortune, how do you think I would handle such? Your guess is as good as mine. Prov. 20:21, if your wealth was easy to get, it will not be worth much to you’ ERV. There’s nothing really like victory without a fight, Deut. 2:24.
