Former SSG Gives Relief Materials to Displaced Airport Landlords

…Calls for Revisit of Compensation Formula

Former Secretary to Ebonyi state government, Prof. Bernard Odoh gives relief materials to displaced landlords and called on the state government to revisit its compensation formula to the displaced landlords of the proposed international cargo airport in the state to cushion effects of the project on their ancestral homes and farmlands.
Professor Odoh made this call during a sympathy visit to the displaced landlords in a camp at Okaleru comunity of Ezza Nortmh Local Government Area.
The varsity don turned politician visited the people with some relief materials which include over 500 bags of rice and undisclosed amount of money.
He advised the people to remain calm, peaceful and prayerful, assured them that God remains the Almighty, can do and undo everything at His own time and way.
He urged the government to deploy health workers and relief materials to the people to reduce their plights.
On their parts, two of the displaced victims, Mrs. Josephine Nwokwu and Elom Isreal on behalf of others thanked the former chief scribe for coming to their aid and prayed for God’s unlimited blessings on him.
Meanwhile, the former chief scribe of the state also paid condolence visits to families of some deceased prominent sons of Ezza Ezekunna who reunited with their Maker recently, which include the families of Professor Fidelis Nnoko, Chief Tobias Okwuru and many others.
