A non governmental organization known as Pascal Oluchukwu Foundation has given food items worth millions of naira to over one thousand indigent widows in Ebonyi state to cushion the effects of the coronavirus lockdown.
The foundation recently doled out 600 bags of rice and 100 cartons of tomatoes to indigent widows in Ebonyi state to cushion effects of the coronavirus lockdown.
Speaking during telephone interview , founder of the body Ambassador Pascal Oluchukwu, a Dubai based philanthropist told Citizens’ Advocate that the gestures are expected to reduce negative effects of coronavirus lockdown on indigent widows from Onunwachi in Ezza North Local Government Area of the state, who were still trying to recover from effects ejection from their ancestral home and farms following construction of Ebonyi state international cargo airport project before pandemic of the novel virus ravaging the world.
Ambassador Pascal who was represented at the occasion by his Personal Assistant, Mr. Emeka Oshiene promised continuous assistance to the indigent widows through the foundation and urged all other well to do individuals and organizations to follow suit for the progress of the state.
Other beneficiaries from magnanimity of Ambassador Pascal’s foundation are indigent widows both young and old from Ezza Ntezi of Ishielu Local Government Area..
Responding, two of the beneficiaries Mrs. Nwakpa Janet and Elom Roseline who were visibly happy for the timely palliative measure thanked the foundation for the kind gesture to them and prayed God to blessed them abundantly.
