Earlier in his remark, the Ebonyi State Commandant of VGN, Mr. Job Edeh who commended the army for their fight against insecurity called for synergy with Vigilante Group of Nigeria to rid Ebonyi of crimes and criminals.

“The Vigilante Group of Nigeria was registered as incorporated trustees with the Corporate Affairs Commission in Abuja on 28th February 1999, with the sole aim of complementing the efforts of the regular security agencies like the Army, Police, DSS, and other security agencies by providing them with vital information needed to curb crime in the country.

“Our men have proven their worth with the assistance they have rendered to the Army infighting the dreaded Boko Haram in the North East and other zones where insecurity is prevalent.

“The enormous security challenge facing the country now entails that all hands must be on deck and all security agencies to work in synergy to achieve the desired meaningful result. Our men are ever ready to assist the army in any way our services are needed”.
