Mrs. Ezeh, a house wife who was delivered of a new baby in the month of February 2021, through cesarean section (operation) had been discharged but could not leave the hospital due to the inability of her husband to pay off the hospital bill of one hundred and forty thousand, eight hundred and five naira (N140,805).
According to Mrs. Ezeh, the husband could do little or nothing to help the situation because he is currently not in good state of health.
Madam Ezeh appealed to good spirited individuals, governments at all levels, corporate organizations and philanthropists to assist in bailing her out from the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki (AE-FUTHA 1) for the sake of her new born baby since they have been sent out of the hospital bed and befitting ward to separate confined place where they lay on improvised materials and barely feeds.
According to her, the situation has gone so bad that she depends on alms to feed and then breastfeed her baby but pledged to engage in menial jobs for people and peasant farming on their family land considering the season to better their lives, if bailed out of the hospital.Follow us
